The Oakland County Sheriff’s office is saying alcohol appears to have been a factor in a fatal automobile crash which occured on Saturday in Brandon Twp.
A 49-year-old Orion Twp. man was killed when his motorcycle struck a Kia driven by a 49-year-old Leonard woman head on.
It appears the Orion Twp. man lost control of his motorcycle going eastbound on Oakwood and crossed into the westbound lane, striking the Leonard resident.
The victim was transported to Genesys Hospital where he was pronounced dead. The Leonard resident was injured, but was released.
The crash remains under investigation.
