A semi-trucker attempted to get diesel fuel at a gas station on Sashabaw Road and found his truck would not fit under the canopy of the station. The truck caused damage to the canopy and to the car wash, as well as landscaping on the property before advancing to northbound I-75. Deputies caught up with the man on East Holly Road at another station.

Sept. 15 Nine recreational vehicles and motor homes broken into at a storage facility on Dixie Highway. Doors and windows broken to gain entry, electronics, clothes and tools stolen.
Sept. 22 A motor vehicle stolen from a home on Old Pond. Suspects were later found on Ridge Valley. Allegedly, the suspects pried open a garage door of the home to steal a dirt bike. A passing motorist alerted police to the situation.
