Assembly for compasssion

On Nov. 30, Clarkston High School will host a national assembly called ‘Rachel’s Challenge? at 8:45 a.m. and again at 9:58 a.m.
The event was established in memory of Rachel Scott, the first victim of the Columbine High School shootings. Based on her beliefs and diaries found after her death, family members and others have taken her challenge across the country. The assembly emphasizes Rachel’s belief that a chain of compassion could be created by a simple act of kindness.
