The Oakland County Sheriff’s Department has obtained a warrant for the arrest of a 21-year-old Pontiac man in connection with an armed robbery last week on Parakeet Hill.
At press time, the suspect was not yet in police custody.
According to an OCSD report, two men forced their way into the home late last Tuesday night while brandishing a shotgun.
The men took a wallet and cell phone from the woman inside and demanded to speak with her boyfriend.
The woman, who reported also being hit on the cheek, told the intruders that she does not have a boyfriend and that they were apparently at the wrong location.
A warrant for the Pontiac man was issued on Friday, and included charges of robbery with a firearm and home invasion in the first degree.
