The Orion Township board finalized funding for their previously agreed on repair of several gravel roads in the township.
The board approved unrestricting $100,000 of funds for Baldwin Road widening from the General Capital Improvement Fund and transferred the funds to a Repair of Roads account.
The township’s agreement to purchase 19,200 linear feet of 21AA limestone/gravel is contingent upon the Road Commission of Oakland County doing the spreading work.
As reported in The Review on April 4, the gravel will be spread on East Clarkston Road (from M-24 to Orion Road), North and South Conklin Road, Indian Lake Road (east of Conklin), Kern Road (portion north of bridge) and parts of Coats Road (between Indianwood and Stanton Roads).
