Beverly and Charles Gavette of Clarkston married March 23, 1957, at First Baptist Church, Pontiac.
They are members of Shepherd Fellowship Church, Waterford. They spend winters in North Ft. Myers, Fla., so celebrated their 50th anniversary during Thanksgiving, 2006, with a four-day trip to Las Vegas.
With them were son Craig, daughter Michelle and her husband, Marty Mazer, and granddaughters Amber and boyfriend Mark, now serving in Iraq, and Brittney and boyfriend Michael.
