Mother Nature was the only one to score on Sept. 25 as Lake Orion and visiting Clarkston battled to a scoreless tie on the soccer field that was shortened 20 minutes because of lightning.
The tie left the Dragons at 4-6-2 on the season, including a 2-3-2 mark in OAA I play. Aram Keteyian made four saves in net for the Dragons.
The two squads are likely to meet again in district play, which begins in two weeks.
The Dragons took to the home field again yesterday against Stoney Creek and were able to find plenty of offense this time.
Unfortunately, so were the visitors, as the two teams battled to a 3-all tie.
Lake Orion goal scorers were Scott Morris, Reed Losee and Derek Schrauben.
