The Lake Orion Soccer Club entered their games this weekend wanting to score many goals. LOSC teamed up with the LOBOS Soccer Club in a fundraising effort to raise money for the Schrauger Family.
Parents from all of the teams donated $1 for each goal scored by their team in all of their games this weekend. The donations were not held to $1 per goal. LOSC families contributed extra money to raise the fund.
In addition to the money donated by the parents, the board of LOSC will also donate $10 per goal scored by LOSC. On the field, meanwhile the teams are finishing strong…
U-9 Boys: The U9 Boys finished up the season this weekend with mixed results. On Saturday they faced the LOBOS at Civic Center Park. Kyle Hayes got both LOSC goals with one assist to Graham Hemingway and the other goal was unassisted, as the team prevailed 2-1. This win brought the team’s record to 9-0.
On Sunday the LOSC U9 Boys faced Clarkston Select for their final outdoor game of the fall season. The boys were pretty pumped up going into the game, knowing that they had already clinched the Boys U9 Major Blue Division with their win the previous day. They were hoping to finish the season undefeated, but it wasn’t to be as Clarkston Select took a 4-1 victory. The only goal for LOSC came midway through the first half from Kyle Hayes with the assist going to Steven Zmijewski.
With a 9-1 showing on the season, Jeff Schlicht did a fantastic job of coaching these boys and was very happy with the season.

U10 Boys: the LOSC Boys U10 did not have a good weekend, losing both of their games. They played P. Magic Black on Saturday in Rochester Hills falling 2-1. The only LOSC goal was from Matthew Arenz, unassisted.
On Sunday, the boys faced FC Nova at Civic Center Park losing to them 5-1. The lone goal for LOSC came in the second half, from Kurt Nylen with the assist going to Austin Shugar.
The boys played two hard games with lots of determination but were denied wins in both games. Next weekend they will face Troy Elite Premier on Saturday at 2 p.m. at Jaycee Park in Troy, and on Sunday they face Waza Royal (East A Team) at 2 p.m. at Civic Center Park 6B.

U11 Boys: The LOSC U11 Boys team played a nail-biter game against the U11 LOBOS Red team on Saturday. Matthew Arenz, of LOSC, scored twice, being matched each time by a LOBOS goal to tie the game at two. During the last seconds of the game, Brad Eick scored the game-winning goal for LOSC.

U-14 Girls: It was a tough loss for the U14 Girls team as they welcomed the BWSC Lakers Xtreme to Civic Center Park.?
The girls did not let the rain dampen their spirits, despite a final score of?1-0.’The girls will play their final’outdoor game’this Sunday’against the’Lakers in Port Huron.
