Magician Gordon Russ will entertain audiences with a Christmas-themed comedy magic show at 2 p.m. at the Mann Schoolhouse at the Old Mill campus, 355 Mill St.
The show, explains Russ, involves a bunch of characters on their way to a Christmas party and the funny things that occur en route. Santa Claus will make an appearance, of course, as well as a jack-in-the-box, and George the Raccoon. The show is geared to children in Kindergarten through sixth grade, although adults will enjoy watching the kids.
‘It’s a lot of fun, and entertaining for the kids,? says Russ, who has been a full-time magician since 1989 and has performed all over the world. ‘They’ll laugh all the way through the show.?
Watch for the big card trick? members of the audience should keep their eyes on the characters, as one disappears and they have to find them. Look out for the box of Christmas candy, too.
Children are encouraged to bring signs that say ‘Pick me!? as they will get to sit near the front during the show and may be selected to participate.
