Ortonville-The Village will continue its tradition of supplying luminaries or paper candle lanterns to village residents to put along their streets Christmas Eve. Volunteers are needed to assemble and distribute luminaries along the major streets and are asked to report to the Ted Baker DPW Complex at 159 Cedar St. around noon. Trucks and trailers are also needed to help the distribution. Those not residing off major streets may obtain supplies for making luminaries from the village. It is suggested that residents living on the same streets or the same neighborhood go together to obtain the supplies.
