Brandon Twp.- A 16-year-old Brandon High School student who fired a BB gun at a school bus will face criminal charges.
Oakland County Sheriff’s Office Sgt. Pete Burkett of the Brandon Substation said around 3 p.m. Dec. 13, a Brandon school bus driver called police to say there was a man with a gun at a bus stop at Pinoak and Birch in the Mobile Home Park.
Deputies arrived and located the suspect and a pellet BB gun. The suspect had been truant from school and seven pellet dents were later found in the bus. No one was injured.
Burkett said the investigation is continuing and the case will eventually be submitted to Oakland County Probate Court.
