Located at 385 North Lapeer Rd just north of the village limits, POH Oxford Campus is a 24/7 Emergency Service Facility equipped with the latest in diagnostic imaging and is staffed by physicians and nurses that are dedicated to providing excellent service and clinical quality.
In addition to the Emergency services, POH Oxford offers comprehensive outpatient services such as State of the Art Diagnostics, Physician Specialists, Physical Therapy and Rehabilitation, Occupational Medicine and on-site Laboratory and Pharmacy services. They also offer low cost/ free health screenings and educational programs for the community.
Patients in need of diagnostic services can experience quality, convenience and timeliness without traveling far from home. At POH Oxford the 24/7 CT Scan and X-Ray do not require an appointment and referrals are accepted from all Physicians. STAT readings are available from POH radiologists ensuring quick turnaround time. Additional Diagnostic services include Venous and Carotid Doppler, Ultrasound, Bone Densitometry, Mammography, MRI, P.E.T/CT Scan. Same day appointments are available for most diagnostic services.
Patients and athletes of all ages looking for physical therapy and rehabilitation services will be pleased to know that POH Oxford has experienced physical therapists that develop individualized programs designed to aid patient and athlete recovery and return them to an improved quality of life.
The Physician Specialty Group, which have been in the community for over twenty years include allergy and asthma care, electromyography, gastroenterology, orthopedics, pediatrics, and podiatric medicine.
Occupational Health services range from on the job injury care to pre-employment health services and include drug and alcohol testing as well as Department of Transportation physicals.
The on-site Pharmacy provides both prescription and over the counter medications at lower costs and DELIVERS to the surrounding community.
POH Oxford continues to offers a variety of community based programs including CPR training, diabetes education, snowmobile and hunters safety, blood drives and free mammogram screenings. The POH Riley Foundation is helping the community stay healthy by offering free mammogram screenings. To be eligible the patient must be an Oakland County resident who is uninsured or under-insured, 40 years old or are under 40 with a family history of breast cancer and must have a physician referral.
Throughout its three decades, the Oxford campus headed by the Operations Manager, Lynette Johnson has expanded to keep the pace with the changing needs of the areas population and will continue to grow and evolve with the community in the years to come.
