On May 7, a Brandon deputy responded to the 1800 block of Glenfield. The complainant said a blue Saturn Ion drove through the intersection at Glenfield and Glass Road while a school bus was dropping off children. The bus had its red lights on and a stop sign out which the Saturn driver failed to heed. The complainant said the suspect drives fast and carelessly all the time. Another witness confirmed the complainant’s account. The driver was contacted and said she was not paying attention and made a mistake. She said she was distracted and would try to do better. She was cited for driving without due care and caution.
