Groveland Twp. man sentenced

A 19-year-old Groveland Township man was sentenced to 19 months to 20 years in prison after pleading guilty to breaking and entering and felony habitual offender third offense.
Christopher Fredrick Sache was sentenced by Sixth Judicial Circuit Court Judge Colleen O’Brien on May 27 on the charges relating to a breaking and entering and assault on a former accomplice that occurred in Brandon Township in March. He received credit for 66 days served.
According to police reports, Sache entered an open garage in the 2300 block of Allen Road between March 14-16 and took a chainsaw, sawzall, and golf bag. On March 15, he destroyed a mailbox in the 1900 block of Oakfield, and on March 20, Sache beat up a Brandon Township man at his Viola Street home who had joined him in stealing bottles from a Springfield Township Kroger and skateboards from a shop in Orion Township. Sache called the man a snitch and punched him repeatedly.
Sache has also been arraigned on a home invasion that occurred in Independence Township.
