Matt Sheperd, a Brandon Township resident, finished in the top 10 of the Michigan High School Division 2 Boys Golf Finals on June 6 and 7. Sheperd is a student at Notre Dame Prep and golfed a total of 152 after two rounds at the Eagle Crest Golf Resort at Eastern Michigan University. Sheperd finished seventh individually and helped his team finish fourth in the team standings.
