Dear Editor:
I am the new clerk for the City of Clio and a Brandon Township resident. I am the former Deputy Treasurer for Brandon Township and the former Deputy Clerk/Treasurer for the Village of Ortonville. I didn’t have much time to get settled in my new position in Clio before the election on Aug.5, so I turned to the clerk’s office in Brandon Township for help. I just wanted everyone to know that Brandon Township has a wonderful clerk and assistants who are knowledgeable and supportive, regardless of how many questions I asked. The election in the City of Clio went off without a hitch. My hat is off to these wonderful ladies. I can’t express my thanks enough to Jeannie McCreery, Karen McArthur, Susan Nassar and Sue Chestnut.
