After two years of construction on Sashabaw Road, Independence Township Fire Department is going to relandscape the front yard and repave the parking lot at Fire Station No. 2.
“We haven’t done anything to our yard in 22 years,” said Steve Ronk, fire chief. “If we’re going to sit on the corner we’re going to fit in.”
Cost of the project is yet to be determined.
