Village driver: ‘Get off the road, stupid?

Dear Editor:
(In response to: ‘Please slow down in the village,? The Citizen, Sept. 8, page 6)
About a month ago, I was driving down Oakwood Road, slowed down at the 35 mph section, turned left on to Church Street, when the driver behind me caught my attention. He was waving his arms, was quite red in the face, and would have overtaken me on Church Street, which at that section, is sign posted 25 mph, had the oncoming traffic allowed. I proceeded towards Mill Street at the same speed, rounded the bend at the post office, on to South Street, turned left and drove along to my destination, the Oxford Bank. By this time, from my observations through the rear view mirror, the driver still behind me was fit to be tied. He stopped his car as I turned into the bank driveway, learned over to his open window, and yelled at the top of his voice: ‘Get off the road, you stupid S.O.B., I could have F…… walked faster!? He took off toward the traffic light on M-15. I wanted him to stop and say some more, I could then have made sure of his registration. What I would have given to have a policeman hear that.
