The Martians varsity soccer team is undefeated in the Genesee Area Red divison. With a league record of 5-0 and an overall record of 11-3-2, the team is feeling confident about the season after a 19 win season in 2007 and 11 seniors returning.
‘Having a lot of returning talent this season has made a difference,? said Coach Evan Huizenga. ‘Some of our players have been on varsity for four years. Last year made this year great. We’re a deep team.? Next game is 4:30 p.m., Oct. 8, at home against Lapeer East.
