Village master plan approved

Ortonville- The village council approved a new master plan by a 6-1 vote at the Oct. 13 meeting. Councilmember Dan Eschmann voted no.
McKenna Associates of Northville completed the master plan for the village at a cost of approximately $36,000. The county and Community Development Block Grant funds were used to help pay for the project.
‘The master plan is important because it’s the basis for all future land use planning decisions in the village,? said Village Manager Ed Coy.
