Emily’s winning essay

Proper nutrition is important to me because…If I eat the right food my body will help me live longer. To eat the right foods I am going to not eat as much snacks, drink more water, and eat fruits and vegetables more often. I will try to have more protein and two vitamins everyday. I will try to follow the food pyramid. Having pop will dehydrate my body. Eating healthy and drinking less pop will help my heart feel good and me feel great.
Exercise is important to me and my family. I will try to exercise more. Basketball is helping me to feel good and feel proud of myself. I run around my yard sometimes. I play softball wtih my dad when we have time. I want to exercise more and help my body. I love jump roping. Pushups are the most important to my family. These are important to me and my family.
