Construction-technology students competed in the second annual Carpentry and Masonry Invitations, Dec. 4, at Springfield Oaks.
Oakland Schools Technical Campus Northwest in Springfield Township and northeast campus in Pontiac competed with students from Ann Arbor Public Schools and Dakota High School of Macomb.
The competition, in which students built projects from blueprints, prepares them for the upcoming SkillsUSA competitions, locally and nationally.
