A group of Oxford High School athletes took a break from their various sports last week to spend a little time reading stories to students at Clear Lake Elementary.
Known as the OHS Captains Club, the group is comprised of all the team captains for the varsity sports.
These students are typically viewed as school leaders both on and off the field.
Taking time out to read to elementary students is a way for them to show that even athletes enjoy cracking open a good book.
We applaud the OHS Captains Club for being good role models for the youngsters who will one day follow in their footsteps.
