Clarkston United Methodist Church hosts dinner and discussion, June 27, with Tim Birtsas of Independence Township, former Major League Baseball player, and Rob Hilliard, one of the owners of the Oakland County Cruisers baseball team.
Hot dogs, popcorn, cotton candy, nachos and apple pie will be served at the church Fellowship Hall, 6600 Waldon Road, from 5:30-6:30 p.m., with presentations at 7 p.m.
Children in team uniforms receive a special prize as well as a drawing for child and adult prizes. Bring a camera for a picture of your child with Birtsas.
