Sons of the American Legion Patriots were crowned champions in the Lake Orion Youth Baseball League,Senior Division (ages 13-14). The team took top honors with a win over Collex in the June 28 championship game at Friendship Park. Coached by Jon Vandergraaf, Mike Martoia and Bob Gritzinger, team members included Nick Mehl, Adam Caldwell, Andrew Bertels, Riley Roca, Casey Vandergraaf, Erik Gritzinger, Blake Rehahn, Tye Krukowski, Jesse Keller, Chris Rollison, Jack Diedrick, Zach Line, Tyler Martoia and Jack Stablein.
