Dear Editor,
The Martin family, Hometown Pool family and Caribbean Sunset Tanning team would like to offer our heartfelt gratitude to the outpouring of love, concern and assistance during the past few weeks. To everyone from the emergency response team, thank you for your efforts to try and save our beloved Douglas. To everyone who came by the store that Saturday morning and helped us close, watched our children and just provided a hug in our time of need? we thank you. Doug loved this community and wanted every family to enjoy their backyard, be it a swimming pool or patio furniture. He loved it when you asked his advice and treasured each of your friendships. We at Hometown Pool will, with God’s help, continue the 26-year-old tradition of providing family fun and memories. Please stop in and see us, share your memories and help us carry on his legacy.
