Personal service at Anytime Fitness

Construction is complete and Anytime Fitness is now in Clarkston.
The decision was easy for Owner Rusty Peterson to open an Anytime Fitness in the area – the community.
“We picked Clarkston because we wanted to come in and become part of the community,” he said. “Everyone is very receiving, the motivation, the whole-consensus is they want to come in and do something.”
The difference in Anytime Fitness begins with the service.
“The culture within this gym is completely different than any other gym,” Peterson explained. “Everybody is on the same playing field, nobody is judging here. We really push for customer service and push for quality service. When you walk in the door you are treated like gold – that’s what we believe in.”
The service begins with access to the facillity and employees 24 hours a day seven days a week.
Anytime Fitness does have staff hours, but Peterson and personal trainers Chelsea and Trever can be found there during after hours, assisting members.
They are even available for any questions or help when they are not on site and offer a way for members to reach them.
Upon joining, members receive an orientation, to get a better feel for the equipment and learn more about how each machine can help them to there ultimate goal – a healthy life. They also get a free personal training session.
“We have all lived the healthy lifestyle,” said Peterson. “I am passionate about fitness.”
Anytime Fitness has StarTrac Cardio machines each with personal TVs and an output for iPods and MP3 players, along with equipment for strength training, body building and toning. Zumba and Yoga classes will be offered in the near future. The facility has two unisex bathrooms with showers and offers tanning and has a Level 4 bed.
Fot the night owls worried about security, Anytime Fitness has personal security devices the member can wear along with an emergency button located in the gym. With both, a push of the button a call goes instantly to the Oakland County Sheriff’s Department.
They have Optimum Nutrition products and can give their members the best prices.
“We have everything people will need for supplements,” said Peterson.
Members has access to all Anytime Fitnesses after being a member for 30 days.
“It’s really convenient,” Peterson said.
The staff helps as a support system, as well.
“We keep you motivated,” said Chelsea Lovik. “If we don’t see Suzy Q in the gym for awhile we will call and ask ‘where have you been, everything okay.’ They are paying for it. We want to get you in here.”
Anytime Fitness is staffed Monday-Friday, 10 a.m.- 7p.m., Saturday, 11 a.m.-4 p.m., and Sunday is by appointment.
