A lot of people don’t know this, but one of Santa Claus? favorite groups is Oxford-Addison Youth Assistance.
Every year, without fail, the Jolly Old Elf from the North Pole visits the group’s Christmas party at Immanuel Congregational United Church of Christ in Oxford.
Santa dropped by the party Friday night to pass out some early Christmas gifts, chat with excited kids and pose for a few photos for family scrapbooks.
Beside visiting with Saint Nicholas, the kids had lots of fun eating pizza, playing games and shopping for gifts for their parents.
OAYA is to be commended for once again helping to ensure these special kids enjoy a Merry Christmas.
