Clarkston Schools Instrumental Music Association raised more than $7,000 in its Camaro raffle.
“It was a great fund raiser for the band and orchestra,” said Elizabeth Piper, CSIMA vice president, Dec. 13.
They fell short of selling the 750 tickets needed for the car giveaway, so the contest became a 50-50.
Al Bowman Chevrolet of Clarkston offered the car to help support the community.
“We were glad to help out ? Mr. Bowman is a huge supporter of Clarkston schools,” said Al Hall, vice president of sales.
