Science Alive!

Students and staff at Eagle Creek Academy recently enjoyed three days of visits with the SCIENCE ALIVE! Program.? The event is an annual tradition at the school.? In fact, it is one of the most popular activities of the school year.?
During the visits, students were able to meet, hold, pet and learn about animals from all over the world, including Puff the Chinchilla, Pickle the African Ridgeback Frog, Munchkin the Call Duck, Dilbert the Nine-banded Armadillo, Burmese pythons Sunny D and Sunkist, and class favorite Harriet the Spinghaas.?? Students learned about the differences between mammals, amphibians, reptiles and birds.?
They also learned about the animals? habitats and diet and discussed endangered and extinct species.? It was a great three days, filled with fun and learning!
