The Village of Lake Orion previously discussed the potential uses of a sum of money the federal government allocated to them as part of the Federal Neighborhood Stabilization Program. The Village is required to sign a subrecipient agreement in order to administer eligible NSP activities within Federal Guidelines. A house on Newton was sold, but in order to complete the process and get the full sum reimbursed for the work done the Village determined they must extend the deadline by entering an Agreement Addendum between Oakland County and itself. As of Jan. 9, the Village is in favor of approving the president to sign the subrecipient agreement addendum.
