During the March 5 Orion Township Board meeting, area resident Matthew Pochmara requested an approval for a solicitor’s license to sell lawn equipment and care services door-to-door between the hours of 8 a.m. and 5 p.m. for 30 days. Most board members approved the request, but Treasurer Alice Young expressed concern over the time of the potential sales calls. Still, the board approved the application 6-1, with Young being the nay-vote.
