Thanks for the article detailing my exploits in the world of fiber since I retired, especially about the programs at the Senior Center, where we knit or crochet for charity on Thursday afternoons, and the new Needle Arts Circles at the library. I have met so many wonderful people through them as we share information with each other. And we all need to support our local businesses like Heritage Spinning & Weaving, where they will show you how to knit, spin, or weave, as well as crochet.
I was so fortunate to have 2 of my rather simple knit patterns included in the 2012 Knitting Pattern-A-Day Calendar, the only person from Michigan published this year.
