Girls LAX drops two games

On Monday, May 13, the Oxford Girls Varsity lacrosse team lost an away game against Waterford. Final score was 12-6.
Scoring was distributed evenly with Madi Eschberger, Jordan Pieczinski and Kayce Calcaterra adding a goal a piece. Emma Kimmel led OHS scorers with 2 goals.
Tables turned on Saturday, May 12, when the OHS Girls varsity lacrosse team had an impressive outing against Stoney Creek. The Lady Wildcats outgunned the home team 5-4.
According to the coaching staff, keeper Caitlyn Wroblewski ‘had an outstanding game,? and her save percentage was a key to the victory.
Amy Sarris, Wildcat lacrosse varsity assistant, said Wroblewski’s ?81% saves for shots on goal? was ‘incredible!?
While Wroblewski shut down the Stoney Creek offense, Emma Kimmel and Abby Wrobel kept the pressure on the Stoney Creek keeper, and combined for the five OHS points.
On Wednesday, May 9, the OHS varsity lost to visiting Rochester Adams 11-4.
