The Liquid Lightning (LL) swim team shattered two 36-year-old state records and crowned multiple State Champions on the way to its fourth-place finish at Michigan Swimming’s 14 an under Long Course State Championship held July 27 to July 29 at Saginaw Valley State University.
LL’s individual and relay State Champions included Fernanda Camacho Castro, Emily Shores, Sydney Stricklin, Claire Abbasse, Courtney Connolly, Amanda Thielen, Danny Reimchen and Devon Nowicki.
