After beating Farmington 62-41 on Jan. 11, the Oxford Lady Wildcats Varsity Basketball continues their drive for the OAA Whitechampionshiip as they remain undefeated with an 8-0 record.
The Wildcats jumped out to an early 10 point lead and were never challenged. Sophmore Jessica Murphy lead Oxford’s scoring with 25 points. Seniors Miranda Murphy and Shelby Davis also contributed a respectable 16 and 11 points. Defensively Davis lead the way with nine rebounds while Cherilyn Banas provided three assists and a strong performance as floor general.
The girls also beat Lake Orion 69-33 on Jan. 8. The Wildcats next game is Thursday Jan. 17 at home against Rochester.
