26 teachers get tenure, seven retire

Oxford Schools had 26 teachers obtain tenure this year and seven teachers retire.
Tenure teachers included, Clear Lake Elementary: Kristina Boyd, Eric Kerr, Jodie Vivano and Stacy Zmikly; Lakeville Elementary: Brian Luba, Emily Malbouef and Norma Parker; Leonard Elementary: Jennifer Coggins and Amy Granger; Oxford Elementary: Nora Krol; Oxford Middle School: Michelle Gibson, Amber Golden, Jorge Gomez-Vilchis, Cory Hincks and Joseph Zmikly; Oxford High School: Philip Kimmel, Jill Lemond, Lindsey Long, Andrea Olesky, Monica Petrous, Lauren Rambo, Alyson Sangster and Anna Sommers; Oxford Virtual Academy: Matthew Santala and Janet Schell.
Retirees included: Jean Davidson, who taught for 20 years early education (K-2) at Daniel Axford and Clear Lake; Denise Millard, worked for Oxford for 21 years, and for the past eight years was the food service manager for Oxford High School ; Mary Anne Pino was ParaPro for Oxford, worked for district for 22 years. She began her career as a noon-aid at Clear Lake and since 1997 worked at Oxford Intermediate School and Oxford Elementary as a special-Education and Instructional Paraprofessional and Patsy Bonfiglio was a special education teacher for 13 years at Oxford Middle School.
Other early retirees included Pam Sheldon, who retired in October, Pat Parrish, who retired in December 2013 after 23 ? as Oxford Middle School’s band director, and Kelly Kohut, who retired in March after 28 years with district. She spent her career at Clear Lake and Oxford Middle School.
