Parents, students and teachers from Daniel Axford and Oxford Elementary rolled up their sleeves Monday and worked together to spruce up the grounds of their schools.
They spread mulch. They planted flowers. They pulled weeds. They painted fresh lines for playground games.
They did lots of hard work on a muggy, 90-plus-degree day because they care about their schools. And they didn’t go looking for any media attention ? we found them.
That’s the real Oxford, not the marketing version. ? CJC
