Oxford woman killed in crash

Glenda Bizzotto, 56, of Oxford Township, was killed in a Jan. 20 traffic crash on Baldwin Rd. near Indianwood Drive in Orion Township.
Bizzotto, who used to operate a real estate office in the Village of Leonard, was killed when the 1994 Ford Ranger she was driving south on Baldwin Rd. was struck by a northbound 2010 Jeep Laredo, driven by a 60-year-old resident of Clarkston, at 1:30 p.m.
Bizzotto was headed south on the curved section of Baldwin, south of Indianwood Drive, when she lost control of her vehicle, slid sideways across the center line and into the path of the Jeep Laredo, according to information released by the Oakland County Sheriff’s Office.
She was not wearing a seatbelt and was ejected through the passenger side door window, authorities said.
Star EMS transported Bizzotto to McLaren Regional Medical Center in Pontiac where she was pronounced dead.
The Oxford Fire Department transported the driver of the Jeep to McLaren Regional Medical Center where she was listed in stable condition. A seatbelt was used by the driver of the Jeep.
Alcohol was not a factor in this crash, which remains under investigation, according to the sheriff’s office.
