Local businesses deem G.A.P. program grant-worthy

The Lake Orion High School Guided Afterschool Program (GAP) was recently awarded generous grants from three local businesses.
L.O.H.S. GAP Coordinator, Paul Couretas, has been busy working on fund development to enhance the after school activities that allow students to stay active and involved at LOHS.
The mission of the Dragon GAP is to provide an extensive, diverse, fun recreation and leisure program for all Lake Orion Students K-12.
Accordingly, the Awdish Family LS Pharmacy ($1000), North Oakland Community Coalition ($500), and Stephen Auger & Associates Architects ($500) all donated grants to make a difference in the lives of our students.
Each of these businesses are remarkable pillars in our community and have supported Lake Orion students with many monetary and in-kind contributions over the years.
