Oxford Schools is seeking input from all stakeholders to help guide them through the next phases for strategic planning, according to Deputy Superintendent Tim Throne.
Throne is asking parents, students and community members to take a satisfaction survey to give feedback. The surveys can be found on the district’s website www.oxfordschools.org under ‘News and Announcements.?
‘The survey doesn’t take long, maybe 10 or 15 minutes,? Throne said. ‘But we really are soliciting feedback from our students and parents as to not only where we’re at today, but where they’d like to see us go in the future.?
Communication pathways to get input and give information include : Strategic plan 2.0 group of leaders, district website, school messenger, district newsletter, e-mail, employee conversations and school communications within each building, surveys of parents, community members and students, Community Leaders Meetings, local media and Social Media outlets: Facebook, Twitter and Instagram.
‘Each of these tactics will target various stakeholders to ensure that all stakeholders receive more than one communication,? Throne said. ‘One thing that I think is different this time then in the strategic planning process of the past is that we want to establish more of a two-way communication and have that two-way communication go on throughout the year. Not just a one-time event every year, but more of a process.?
