Recently my neighbors and I decided to take our children to the lake — public access on O’Conner — for a few hours of swimming and fishing.
We arrived to find two large dead trees floating in the water, held down by a deck with chairs. Is this deck provided by the village?
If so, it’s very dangerous! If not, who’s responsible? Who should remove this debris? We had to leave due to these uncertain conditions.
We think someone from the village should survey and mark the area that is accessible to the public.
