Village workers were a big help to residents

Big thanks to the dedicated village workers who spent much of the day on Aug. 15 making sure there was fresh, drinkable water available for residents and that emergency services were being provided to the community.
A big thanks to Orion Township who shared some of its bottled water with the village.
LO Police Chief Jerry Narsh and his officers personally delivered bottled water to the residents of Heritage Place and Village Creek Manor and to other seniors and shut-ins in the community.
John Ranville and his DPW crew members trucked in bottled water and also made sure there was other potable water available for anyone who needed it.
The dispatch crew worked in hot, stuffy conditions because the air conditioner at the village hall wasn’t working.
Again, a great big thanks to village employees who made sure residents were well provided for
