It’s a girl!
That was the news last week for Steve and Kelly Wright.
The Addison couple will welcome their seventh, yes, seventh girl this fall.
‘This is crazy!? said Kelly, who’s been researching the chances of a couple producing seven daughters and no sons.
The odds are 1 in 128.
Kelly is happy with the news and somewhat relieved. ‘I think it makes things easier and we’re just going to keep rolling with what we do best,? she said.
The Wrights have six girls ranging in age from 18 months to 13 years. They are Jenna, Avery, Marissa, Abby, Haley and Jolie.
Kelly noted when she goes clothes shopping, she only has to visit the girls section and when she reads books on raising children, she can leave the ones about boys on the shelf.
Besides, Kelly can’t imagine what a boy’s life would have been like in the female-dominated Wright household.
‘It would have been fun to have a boy, but then again, that poor boy. I mean six older sisters, c’mon,? she said.
