Orion Township Trustees declared the second reading and approved the Orion Village Crossing Residential Major PUD Amendment final plan at the southeast corner of Maybee and Baldwin roads at the board meeting Monday night.
Applicants Robertson Brothers? proposal includes a 33-unit residential community, consisting of 20 single-family detached condominiums, and 13 attached condos spread between three buildings. One building has six units, one building has three units, and the last building has four units.
The development location is just behind Oscars Bar and Grille, where other buildings remain from a partially failed development during the recession. Condo prices would range in the mid $200,000s and townhomes would cost around $180,000 to $190,000. The Planning Commission recommended approval to trustees at a joint public meeting in May.
