Hit-and-run on M-24

OXFORD TWP. ? A silver minivan is believed to have fled the scene after causing an accident Saturday night at the intersection of M-24 and Drahner Rd., according to a report taken by the Oakland County Sheriff’s Office.
The crash happened at 11:16 p.m.
According to the report, a 30-year-old Davison woman driving a 2003 Subaru was in the process of turning left from W. Drahner Rd. onto M-24.
The driver told the sheriff’s deputy she ‘didn’t see any vehicles coming.?
As she was crossing the southbound lanes of M-24, a southbound vehicle, believed to be a silver minivan, collided with the Subaru. The unknown vehicle ‘lost control? and ‘spun out,? the report stated. It then turned and headed east on Drahner Rd.
The accident was witnessed by an Orion Township couple who reported the unknown vehicle was traveling at a high rate of speed, caused the accident, then fled the scene. No license plate information was obtained.
Neither the Davison woman nor her passengers, two girls ages 1 and 4, were injured in the crash.
