Downtown Oxford’s Centennial Park was the place to be Thursday night as Ruby T & Valentine performed as part of the popular Concerts in the Park series.
Oxford residents Tom and Robin Moore are members of this talented group that peforms a mix of old-school country, folk, oldies, standards and a few originals.
They sounded fantastic. Robin masterfully covered greats like Patsy Cline and Loretta Lynn. The band ended the night with a powerful, high-energy rendition of the Allman Brothers Band’s 1969 classic ‘Whipping Post.?
