The Oxford girls took eighth place at the OAA Division Meet last Wednesday with a total of 714 points.
The girls competed against Rochester, Stoney Creek, Troy Athens, Clarkston and Troy.
‘The girls did great when they received their highest round 1 score early on. Round 2 was a bit of a struggle but they did an amazing job,? explained Head Coach Nicole Curtiss. ‘Round 3 was awesome as they pushed through and got it done right.?
The girls traveled to Royal Oak on Saturday to compete in the Royal Oak Invitation, where they placed third with 716 points, which is their highest overall score of the season.
‘They did amazing,? Curtiss said.
Ahead of the Wildcats was Bedford with 717 points for second place and Woodhaven with 747 for first place.
