Freshman Savannah Stedman scored 13 points and grabbed 10 rebounds as the Brandon girls basketball team defeated visiting Oxford 47-31 in a Sept. 30 contest.
Lauhnna Waybrant and Jessica Liebner added eight points each for the Blackhawks, who are 2-8 overall and 2-1 in the Flint Metro League.
Brandon returns to action Oct. 9 when they host Holly at 7 p.m.
