Oktoberfest to benefit Dianna Gering

The Lake Orion Lions Club, with the help of OPA Restaurant, is hosting an Oktoberfest Family Fun fundraiser for Dianna Gering on Oct. 25. Gering, a kidney dialysis patient, requires a kidney transplant.
Daytime activities from 3-6 p.m. for the children include clown, magicians, pumpkin painting, face painting and trick or treating. Food includes hotdog, chips, soda and dessert. The cost is $10/child.
The evening event takes place from 8 p.m.-2 p.m. It includes the band RESCUE, buffet dinner, 50/50 drawings, an outside tent and live auction for $50/adult.
The club will administer all donations which are tax deductible.
